About Us

Anchor Point Early Learning Academy is a small, center based school with a high-quality early education program utilizing a center based curriculum. We proudly maintain low child to teacher ratios uniquely offering an individualized focus for each child to be successful.

Our mission is to inspire a child’s love of learning and exploring through a curriculum designed to develop the intellectual, physical, artistic, and academic excellence inherent in each child.

Our classrooms at our North Smithfield location include a toddler classroom (eighteen months to three years), a preschool classroom (three to four years), and a pre-kindergarten program (four to five years).

Our classrooms at our East Greenwich location include two infant classrooms (six weeks to twelve months and twelve months to eighteen months), a toddler classroom (eighteen months to three years), a preschool classroom (three to four years), and a pre-kindergarten program (four to five years).

Our Approach

Every child is strong, capable, independent, curious, and full of imagination.  A quality early education program will empower children to think, question, investigate, explore, and help navigate the journey of learning.  As an early learning center, our mission is to inspire a child’s love of learning and exploring through a curriculum designed to develop the intellectual, physical, artistic and academic excellence inherent in each child

Students will have the ability to learn the basic skills required for excellence in kindergarten: early literacy, mathematical concepts, and fine motor skills.  Mastering these essential skills does not have to involve traditional worksheets or drills. Rather they can be seamlessly integrated into a play and project based curriculum that encourages critical thinking and enthusiasm for knowledge.  Children meet the expectations of their parents and teachers in a loving and supportive environment. Collaboration between parents and a teacher creates a seamless learning experience in a child’s life.

Our Story

Anchor Point Early Learning Academy was founded by Miss Amanda and her husband Joey, fulfilling her long time dream to create a program where a child’s individual needs and learning styles are fostered in an environment where children, staff, and families feel safe, secure, and engaged.
